Half-Ukrainian, half-Jewish, born and raised in Moscow, calling London home for 10 years now.
When people ask Anna what she does, she usually answers depending on the context. She would say “I direct surreal music videos and commercials” on a film industry event, “blogger and podcaster” on an influencer party, “artist” on an exhibition opening. The reality is, Anna is a mixture of all those things. An artist who directs cool videos and does mixed media art projects. And she believes that's a huge strength of hers. Feminism, surrealism, psychology and design are important components of her work.
Since graduating from the London College of Fashion, with a distinction in MA Fashion Photography in 2015, her fashion films have been selected for and won some of the world’s major fashion and short film festivals including Berlin Commercial, London Short Film Festival, Bristol Film Festival and more.
On a more formal note, Anna worked with many wonderful clients over the years, including Disney, Nike and Warner Music. Her work has been published by Nowness, Vogue Italia, L’Officiel, Design Collector and Trend Land.
People say she has a sharp eye for design and composition and uses her surreal ideas to create work that is both optically arresting and memorable.
This year Anna is looking to start developing a contemporary ballet about pregnancy depression, which will mark the new beginning and an exciting creative journey.
