Rosie is an Irish writer & director based in Dublin. After studying Visual Communication at IADT, she started to teach herself to shoot and edit which quickly led to her love for directing. That paired with a background in DJing, instantly being drawn to the world of creating music videos and hasn’t looked back since.
Fast forward to now. Mainly working in music video and commercials, with an ambition to move into writing and directing films this year, which has always been a goal. So far Rosie has worked with many amazing Irish artists like Jape, Gemma Dunleavy, Villagers and James Vincent McMorrow to name a few.
In 2019 Rosie was nominated for an Emerging Director Award for her work with Jape and this year was also nominated at the Kinsale Shakes and Emerging Director Awards for her work with Villagers.
Rosie has a love for realism-style films that tell personal stories, and a passion for exploring mixed media, animation and shooting on film.
