Michel & Nico are brothers and award-winning directors from the south of France, known for their raw, physical and cinematic approach to storytelling.
Former professional rugby players, they began their filmmaking careers with a camera and the connections they'd made on the pitch. Early work with Red Bull helped shape their style, but their interest in people and human stories soon took them far beyond sport. From world-class athletes to complete unknowns, they're drawn to people with genuine passion and stories worth telling.
Over the past decade, their work has earned Gold at the Young Director Awards and Kinsale, alongside recognition at the British Arrows, 1.4 and AICP. They've also picked up Oscar-qualifying festival awards for a short film made with their own kids.
