Bio

Sam Neill

Sam Neill is a London based portrait and live music photographer, with a global name. His otherworldly imagery, that exudes energy through the visual source, has graced the covers of albums and magazines for almost a decade.

Sam forged his career from the ground up. With humble beginnings snapping gigs on his Sony Ericsson Walkman phone, to capturing the likes of Coldplay, Foals and DJ Steve Aoki on tour, Sam has absorbed every bit of culture along the way. Crashing shows to shoot wouldn’t be top of Sam’s list of advice to his younger self; but he also wouldn’t change the past for anything.

After cracking the London scene, Sam relocated to Las Vegas in 2019 to photograph shows, lifestyle, and travel campaigns, taking him to over 50 countries Worldwide. It was then Sam felt he was really creating work at a top, international level. His portrait work draws inspiration from fashion and design to create high concept, vibrant campaigns, whilst his performance shots are nothing short of visual spectacles.

18 years after receiving his first camera and falling in love with the medium, and now residing back in London, it seems only right that the first agency Sam signs with, is the agency run by his childhood friends.
